Florida Gets a Raise!

With 71% of the vote (5 million voters!)

Amendment 5 passed on Nov. 2nd!

Thanks to thousands of petitioners, canvassers and campaign supporters, Floridians earned a $1 raise on May 2nd, 2005. The state minimum wage will increase to $6.40 on Jan. 1, 2006 and continue to increase annually with the cost of living!
